Wholesale Whole Foods: Why I’ve Now Gone To Buy Whole Foods Online For All My Kitchen Staples

I have often come up against the barrier of ‘but everything healthy is SO expensive’.

And yes if you do choose to purchase Madagascan vanilla powder from a tiny independent health food store on a high street in a relatively affluent neighbourhood to make your grain free vegan muffins then you would be entirely correct.

As you can probably tell I don’t do this. Anymore.

The Many Facets of Self Care

We have all been told we must love our neighbours as we love ourselves but I will hazard a guess that many of us afford others more attention & kindness than we gift to our own beings.

Now this is not a bad thing per se, being a wonderful human being, caring for our loved ones &/or those we may not necessarily even know that well in itself is a form of self love, as in turn we tend to see at least some of that being reciprocated. Paying it forward so to speak.

My thoughts today however turn to the numerous different ways we can look after ourselves, a few of which I summarise below.

Is Your Eating Really Intuitive? My Thoughts On Positive Food Relationships, Cravings & Functional Issues

“I only eat what my body tells me it needs”

Sounds pretty simple doesn’t it?

And yes in principle I fully support the idea of eating intuitively, following your own unique hunger signals, being in tune with what you need as opposed to the generalised ‘normal’ way of feeding ourselves (whatever that actually is these days…..) should be.

But I do have one distinct stumbling block here – what if your body isn’t firing on all cylinders & so can’t give you the right messages? Well that’s when I pull the above face because I’ve had numerous discussions with individuals that indicate this is the case & so that’s where my attention is directed today.

Omega 3: Clinical Applications & A Gift From Bare Biology

In the world of health & nutrition the words omega 3 are probably some of the most familiar, in the sense they aren’t new age & I’m not reinventing the wheel when I tell you that they are of benefit.

However as with most things there is huge amounts of variation when it comes to omega 3 products, foods & influences on requirements, plus potentially a number bits & pieces you weren’t quite as aware of as you once thought.

Additionally to the bounty of information I will now shower you with I also have the huge pleasure of sharing a truly one off offer with you – Bare Biology, the producers of exceptionally high quality, clinical strength fish oils (the ones I actually use in my clinic & myself)have agreed to provide a 20% discount code (something they have never, & potentially will never do again!) for you. Simply enter NATNOURISH on their website when purchasing to apply this.

But now to the why we want them at all…

Why We Shouldn’t Just Be Respecting Our Elders, We Should Be Nourishing Them Too

Me & my Grandpa circa 2013 xx

How many times have you heard the phrase “Oh it’s just because he/she/it’s old”.

Well I’ve heard it a lot.

Now it’s not that I disagree that ageing increases the risk of ill health or other aches & pains, what I do disagree with however is the assumption that just because you are more advanced in years you must settle for said creaks & chronic conditions. That is just not good enough for me.

Why Going A Week Without Sugar Could Be The Sweetest Thing You’ve Ever Done….

In the absence of additional sugars the innate sweetness of natural foods is allowed to shine through

Just over 7 days ago I embarked on a mission.

Well actually this ship set sail about 5 years ago but for the sake of this post let’s say we’re sticking to the 7 days.

In terms of the important elements of this equation the time scale is really of little relevance though when compared to the topic of the day which is of grave importance.
