All foods (within reason) can very happily fit into our routines & it’s actually when we abandon the ‘should, must, can, can’t’ mindset that we find a peace & contentment with our consumption habits.
I’m not saying swap all your vegetables for a brownie, but at the same point if you fancy a slice of cake, or a bit of chocolate then choose a great quality version, enjoy It & move on. You’ll be far happier, & less likely to overeat at a later point because you’ve honoured & nourished yourself properly.
With this in mind, here is my super simple chocolate ganache recipe which is bound to hit the spot.
Warm the coconut milk until just about to simmer.
Pour over the ceremonial cacao & whisk until smooth.
Add salt/sweetener if you wish.
That’s it! Use to ice a cake, as a chocolate spread or eat with a spoon!
