This is a sweet spin on a classic dip. With protein rich chickpeas and the flavour profile of Nutella, this sumptuous spread is nutrient dense and tastes like heaven on earth.
Place the hazelnuts on a lined tray in a 150°C oven to toast lightly. Shake the tray every 3-4 minutes & keep a close eye, we want them warmed & lightly golden but nothing more than that. Add to a food processed, pulse to chop & remove 2 tablespoons to set aside. Then blend to a smooth butter.
Add the rest of the ingredients except the milk, blend until you have a rough paste then dribble this in with the motor running until super smooth.
Stir through your reserved nutty rubble, pop into a jar & either freeze for up to 3 months or refrigerate & use within 3-4 days.
It makes the most amazing snack with pieces of fruit, celery or just by itself, or spread onto toast & delight in its layers of loveliness.
