RECIPE: Chocolate Spice Protein Spread

    I adore nut butter.

    I mean I’m not kidding I could drink the stuff but I do sometimes find myself looking for something less rich to snack on, plus there is the cost consideration & the fact that I am more consistently being asked for nut free alternatives for things like kid’s lunchboxes.

    So drumroll please….I have come up with an alternative!

    Yep this 10 second beauty ticks all of the above boxes, offers a fantastic protein boost (a great one for picky kiddies too!) & tastes truly divine.

    So that’s about it except to say I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

    Serves 2-4

    • 1 sachet Chocolate Spice
    • ¼-⅓ cup water
    • 1 tbsp tahini or nut butter (optional)
    • Your choice of dippers/crackers/toast to serve – apple or pear slices work really well, as do oatcakes, rice cakes or toast.
    1. Pour the protein powder into a bowl then add the water a few spoons at a time stirring to blend. Thin to your desired consistency then add the nut butter/tahini if using, stirring once more.
    2. Serve!
